3D Model

A dollhouse or digital twin view can offer an overall view of the space, so you can easily get a clear idea of any location within any section of the property. Within the 3D model, you can freely rotate and zoom in.

Print-ready 4K photos

Matterport tags

Based on your requirements, we will create tags for individual interior elements. You can for example fully describe the kitchen unit in detail or add specific notes to the picture on the wall.

Schematic floorplans

High-quality scale drawings directly from a 3D model after scanning. These can be uploaded to AutCAD or any other architectural software. Schematic Floor Plans are accurate to 1 to 2% of reality.

Precise measurements

We can provide 3D measurements of your space with 99% accuracy. In addition to the floor plan, you can have the dimensions of individual objects displayed during the virtual tour. This feature can be a selling point to anyone thinking about changes to the interior.

Social sharing

Automatically generate engaging animated gifs and video clips ready to post and share on social media.

Immersive VR experience

All the content streams through your web browser, so there’s no need to download an extra app. Just open a space in your Oculus browser, and hit the ENTER VR button.

Frequently asked questions

What is a 3D showcase?

A 3D showcase is created from a highly specialized camera and infra-red scanning system. A 3D showcase is the result of a system that combines a string of infra-red lenses with a string of standard lenses that then overlay the captured images on top of the 3-axis spatial dimensions that were calculated by the infra-red lenses.

What turn-around time can I expect?

Your virtual tour is usually available within 24 hours after the property 3D Photography is completed. If you also order Floor Plans and include Mattertags, there will be more time required to process the virtual tour project.

Which Matterport camera do you use?

We use the Matterport Pro 2.0, the gold standard for professional 3D capture. Professional photo resolution (134 megapixels) and 3D accuracy with built in AI.

What are Matterport tags?

Matterport tags expands upon the 3D immersive virtual tour experience by embedding text descriptions, video, audio, photos, and more, right into your 3D Spaces.

How large of an area can be scanned?

Traditionally, 200 is the maximum number of scan points that can be built into a single 3D Showcase. This is typically 1,400 square metres, but this can vary widely depending on the layout of the property and the details within, such as furniture. However, by welcoming new challenges, we have successfully pushed these boundaries and created 3D showcases of much larger spaces.

How long does it take to photograph my property?

It takes approximately 1 hour to image a 3D immersive photographic scan for every 100 square metres of space.

Is there any special preparation involved?

Yes. Since it’s a 360 view, everything is visible in frame, so special care must be taken to have the house “show ready”.

Is special lighting required?

No. Special lighting is not normally required. The camera collects HDR (high dynamic range) data and automatically balances the bright and dim areas of the property. Our team member will activate all available internal and external lighting in order to aid the collection of the scan’s imagery.

Which devices are compatible?

It is possible to view and experience 3D Walkthrough spaces on any platform; whether it be Windows, macOS or Linux on Desktops and Laptops, Android or iOS on tablets and smartphones.

Can you scan exteriors?

The camera is ideally used indoors and does not function well in bright sunlight or in wide open spaces. The system works much better in external spaces such as gardens and patios when there is no direct sunlight (such as at dawn or dusk). External scans can be unpredictable and will be conducted after an on-site review for plausibility.

Why is there a hosting fee?

Prague3D pays to host each active 3D Showcase online.
